The Forever Girl

The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton

The Forever Girl is the perfect novel to read on a rainy weekend when you are looking for an escape. You will fall in love with the characters in this young adult story of vampires, shape shifters and eternal souls, I did. I also loved the story and the way Rebecca Hamilton gave us a new prospective on vampires, shifters and the Wicca religion - what an imagination.

Sophia, the main character, is not a weakling nor is she easily frightened. I love Sophia because she is a strong protagonist who knows what she wants when she wants it and will not give up until she gets it. And guess what? She has a brain and is not the bumbling type who is constantly making wrong decisions then needing her boyfriend to save her – bravo! Charles, Sophia's boyfriend, is half shape shifter half vampire, yeah I know, what a combination but Hamilton makes it work. Sophia is also a practicing Wicca but she discovers that she is so much more.

Get ready to meet the ultimate stalker chick, a cool vampire with dreadlocks, a sexy power blocker, one dysfunctional family, an over the top cultist neighbor and a host of other powerful supernaturals in this fun, and entertaining story of Sophia's journey of love and discovery. This is a good start of the series and keep your eyes on Rebecca Hamilton because her writing is only going to get better.

Check out the Overview:

A Cult. A Murder. A Curse.

Sophia's family has skeletons, but they aren't in their graves...

At 22, practicing Wiccan Sophia Parsons is scratching out a living waiting tables in her Rocky Mountain hometown, living under the shadow of her bi-polar mother, religious prejudice, and a cold murder. Sophia can imagine lots of ways her life could be better, but she’d settle for just getting rid of the buzzing noise in her head. The spell she casts goes wrong. The static turns into voices. Her personal demons get company...
