How To Flirt With A Naked Werewolf

How To Flirt With A Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper

How To Flirt With A Naked Werewolf is a cute fun romance with lovable characters. When Mo's engagement was called off she decided to move from the south to Grundy Alaska in order to start over and get away from her hippie parents. She thought she was going to live there for a year, relax and live off her savings, find herself, and maybe get a job but she got more then she bargained for. Mo got a job and an Alpha boyfriend and many new friends. This book will have you smiling while you read. If you are looking for humor and romance in a small town pick this one up you will not be disappointed.

Here... check out the Overview:

Northern Exposure

Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham—who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska—has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated. . . .

Paranormalcy

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White is a refreshing YA Urban Fantasy Romance without the love triangle. Pitcher that for a minute... thank you Kiersten! I couldn't help but love Evie the protagonist and her boy friend Lend.

Evie has to find out who is killing the paranormals before she and her boyfriend are next. This novel is entertaining, funny, cute, and I could not put it down. When you need a break pick this one up.

Take a look at the overview:

Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.

But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.

So much for normal.

Dead Witch Walking

Dead Witch Walking is an entertaining start of the Hollows series by Kim Harrison. When looking back at this book I thought of a good lead-in to a very bad joke - there was a Witch, a Vampire, and a Pixy... how funny is that? Kim Harrison does a good job bringing Rachel, Ivy, Jenks, and the Hollows to life.

When Rachel gets fed up with her job and decides to quit, Ivy and Jenks also decide to quit their jobs too so they may join her in opening a private security agency. Even though Rachel knew that her boss wanted her to quit she never thought that he would get angry and put a hit out on her life. Then she decides that the best way to get rid of the hit is to take down the most wanted criminal that Inderland Security, her previous employer, has on file. And may I say that the criminal happens to be a prominent politician, philanthropist, and also the head of a major drug syndicate? Yea, Rachel has a large amount of work ahead of her if she can stay alive long enough to take down the bad guy. Harrison takes us for a ride on a roller coaster with the threesome fighting hit men and other nasties while keeping their eyes on the prize.

I fell in love with the characters and Harrison did a great job on the story world. This is a good start to the series and I am looking forward to reading her next novel.

Bad Blood by L. A. Banks

Bad Blood by L. A. Banks is the story of Sasha Trudeau's discovery that there are other beings in the world besides Demon infected werewolves and her Special Ops brothers who consists of the Paranormal Containment Unit. Sasha and a nucleus of brothers are survivors of demon infected werewolf attacks and hold their loyalties to each other, the government, and their medical support team. After Sasha returns from a separate mission she has reason to believe that her team-pack is in danger but when she searches their homes her life changes forever. You will read about werewolves, shadow wolves, and double dealing vampires making deals with the government and the wolves. You will also read about a romance, the beginning of a triangle, and finally the relationship between a parent and a child.

Somewhere between the story of the military missions and the coverup of the paranormal world we find a romance between Sasha and Max, Alpha of the North American Shadow Wolves, who's mission is the same as hers – to contain or eradicate the infected werewolves. They have an immediate attraction and he wants her as his mate but she will not commit because they only knew each other a few days. There is a lot of sex going on in this book so if you are looking for YA do not pick this one up. Sasha and Max can't keep their hands off each other and the story becomes all about them.

I liked this novel and will continue to read the rest of the series. Well, I must say that I do like a good paranormal romance and this one is a must read and a good start of a series. It is not a YA read so please do not expect this novel to have sexual tension without penetration – not happening here. There may also be a bit of foul language but I must say that I have heard more on prime-time television. Well done L. A. Banks and may you rest in peace.

The new Patricia Briggs novel dropping on March 6th is called Fair Game.

This is the third book in the Alpha and Omega series. Anna and Charles join forces with the FBI to find a killer who is targeting wolves. I loved all of the books in the Mercy Thompson series and the first two from the Alpha and Omega series - I am looking forward to reading this new book when it downloads automatically to my Nook Tablet.
